Pinkerton Academy

Founded in 1815, Pinkerton Academy is a co-ed, independent high school in Derry, New Hampshire—and is recognized as the largest independent secondary school in the United States, serving roughly 3,000 students. 

Pinkerton delivers academic rigor: 23 AP courses, 42 dual-enrollment (college credit) options, and 11 Honors tracks and 320+ unique courses to match virtually any pathway. Just as important, the student experience is built around belonging and readiness—Pinkerton’s mission is “to provide an inclusive community that prepares all for diverse futures.” For international families, the admissions pathway is fully supported with August and January intakes, while ED Homestay manages placements from start to finish.
