Our Process

All our homestays focus on safety and support. In addition to hosts who have been specially certified to care for high school students, students are assigned to a local homestay manager who can check in with them monthly by arrangement. High School Homestays include private bedrooms with study space, private or shared bathrooms, three meals a day, and daily transportation to and from school. Additional services are also available for special needs and extracurricular activities. 

College Students enjoy slightly different services depending on the city, but all locations offer considerable flexibility through tiered options.  A student can, for example, choose from several meal plans, ask for a location close to the college, and/or sign up for our concierge transportation service.  Fees vary based on the configuration of choices. 

ESL Schools across America have partnered with ED Homestay to provide international students with a trusted and reliable home or apartment complex while they pursue their studies.  College students enjoy slightly different services depending on the city, but all locations offer considerable flexibility through tiered options. We offer short-term study tour groups the same expertise and best practices of homestay accommodation as our longer-term placements. International tour groups receive all the advantages of our homestays, from our emphasis on safety and support to the cultural benefits of living with a local. We work with educational agents and tour organizers to adapt each homestay package to the type, size, and duration of the tour.
