Have you ever dreamed of living and studying in America? Students of varying ages from across the globe join EdHomestay programs to pursue a high school education, attend a college or university, improve their English, and to experience the American culture.
EdHomestay provides housing options for:
- High School Students - All our homestays focus on safety and support, but we place even greater emphasis on this for younger students. In addition to hosts who have been specially certified to care for high school students, students are assigned to a local homestay manager who can check in with them monthly by arrangement. High School Homestays include private bedrooms with study space, private or shared bathrooms, three meals a day, and daily transportation to and from school. Additional services are also available for special needs and extracurricular activities.
- College/University Students - College Students enjoy slightly different services depending on the city, but all locations offer considerable flexibility through tiered options. A student can, for example, choose from several meal plans, ask for a location close to the college, and/or sign up for our concierge transportation service. Fees vary based on the configuration of choices.
- ESL Students - ESL Schools across America have partnered with EdHomestay to provide international students with a trusted and reliable home while they pursue their studies. College students enjoy slightly different services depending on the city, but all locations offer considerable flexibility through tiered options. A student can, for example, choose from several meal plans, ask for a location close to the college, and/or sign up for our concierge transportation service. Fees vary based on the configuration of choices.
- Study Tours (Summer and Winter Camps) - We offer short-term study tour groups the same expertise and best practices of homestay accommodation as our longer-term placements. International tour groups receive all the advantages of our homestays, from our emphasis on safety and support to the cultural benefits of living with a local. We work with educational agents and tour organizers to adapt each homestay package to the type, size, and duration of the tour. to students attending middle schools and high schools, colleges and universities, and language schools.
Our summer and winter camps, and English immersion programs provide an integrated curriculum focused on preparing students to succeed in American schools.

- CONTACT US. A Student Manager will contact you promptly.
- APPLICATION. We will send you a Student Application which you will complete letting us know what your needs are.
- APPOINTMENT. Upon receipt and review of your Application, we will schedule a Zoom appointment with you.
- FIND THE HIGH SCHOOL FOR YOU. We will provide you with three(3) school options for your to apply to.
- HOST FAMILY PROFILES. We will then provide you with two(2) profiles of your American Host Family.
